Maritzburg United defender Rushine de Reuck says he feels ready to take on another challenge in Europe, if he gets the opportunity.
The highly rated centre-back has been linked with both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs after an impressive season at the heart of the Maritzburg defence.
However, the 24-year-old has revealed that he would prefer a move overseas as he now feels better prepared to deal with the challenges European football poses.
De Reuck joined Portuguese outfit Pacos as a teenager in 2014, but only spent a season with the club before returning home to play for Milano United.
"I have played in Europe before and I know what it takes to be there," De Reuck told Goal.
"When I was there, football-wise, I felt I was ready. I matched them and competed well against them and I did well for myself.
"But I struggled mentally because I started missing home and that was a big factor in me coming back.
"But like I said, I know what it takes, and I feel I am ready to take that step again in my career give Europe another try again and see what I can achieve there."
