Ex-Pirates coach Micho accused of sexual misconduct

Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic has labelled accusations of sexual misconduct against him as "baseless and unfair".

Sredojevic resigned as Pirates coach on Friday for personal reasons and immediately flew to Serbia to be at the bedside of his terminally ill mother.

The Sunday World reported that Sredojevic asked a hotel cleaner to have sex with him, with the woman opening up a case of indecent exposure against him.

But Sredojevic has firmly denied the allegations and believes it is a plot to cast aspersions on his character.

“This is a shame. My lawyers will be dealing with this. I have been the most respectful person, soldier and servant of the game. I don’t deserve this. It is baseless and unfair,” said Sredojevic.

“I am still in pain and with my bedridden mother. I am lucky I am out of the country, this is an unbelievable set up to chase me out. I don’t know who she is."

The Serb tactician has been linked with taking over at Egpytian giants Zamalek.
