Cape Town - Former Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows goalkeeper Nkosana Maseko has passed away after a short illness.
Maseko was coach at Free State Stars' ABC Motsepe League side Super Eagles before his death and the club have confirmed his passing.
"Yes, his family confirmed the news this morning. We are saddened about his passing away," Eagles brand manager Jack Mokoena told KickOff.
"We started the team afresh this season and he played a key role in recruiting and reviving the team."
Maseko also represented Nathi Lions and Dangerous Darkies in his playing career.
