Hlongwa: I'll impress Pirates when I return

Cape Town - Defender Brian Hlongwa is currently out on loan at Highlands Park and believes he will come back to Orlando Pirates stronger for the experience.

Hlongwa, who was also out on loan at Real Kings last season, has been relishing the chance for more game time in the Absa Premiership and is looking forward to improving himself over the rest of the campaign.

"Everything is going well [at Highlands Park]. I am settling in well with the team. It's like home away from home," Hlongwa told KickOff.

"I am learning a lot here, I am getting stronger. You can see the training here. I am confident when I get back to Pirates I will be a stronger player."

Despite enjoying his time at the Lions of the North, Hlongwa remains determined to prove his worth at the Buccaneers once he makes his return.

"I haven't got a chance as yet [at Pirates]. I am here again at Highlands Park on loan from Pirates. I am waiting for my chance. The team is still doing well so far.

"I am just waiting for the opportunity and once I get it I will grab it with both hands."
