Cape Town - A former Kaizer Chiefs striker and legend has been taken in for questioning on Wednesday, after police raided a drug lab on a property owned by the former player.

According to a SowetanLIVE report, the player was taken in for questioning by police after a drug lab producing Mandrax was discovered in Randfontein, Johannesburg.

The report says police spokesperson Lieutenant Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that the former player had been taken into custody after a police crime intelligence investigation led to the raid.

The player's identity has been withheld due to an ongoing investigation.
