Kerr receives work permit to coach Black Leopards

Cape Town - Black Leopards coach Dylan Kerr has received a work permit to lead the side in next Wednesday's Absa Premiership clash with Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium.

Kerr was appointed on November 19 but has been unable to take his place in the technical area due to no permit being issued.

The Englishman replaced Joel Masutha who parted ways with Leopards following a poor run of form in the Premiership.

Nonetheless, team manager Elijah Mulaudzi confirmed the arrival of Kerr's permit.

He told Kickoff: "He got it. He got it after Saturday's game [against Bidvest Wits].

"He got it on Monday or Tuesday."

It appears the former Gor Mahia coach has a major challenge on his hands restoring the fortunes of Leopards in the PSL.

The outfit from Polokwane are in last position in the standings and have lost four of their last five matches in the league.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
