Cape Town - George Lebese's agent says talks are ongoing with Mamelodi Sundowns to ascertain whether the winger has a future with the club.
The 29-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs wide-man, made the move to Sundowns in 2017.
He has since struggled to become a regular member of Pitso Mosimane's squad, and is yet to feature at all this term, prompting him to enquire about his lack of game time.
When quizzed by KickOff website about Lebese's inactivity this season, agent Steve Kapeluschnik said: “We are talking to Sundowns to see if they are prepared to let him get some game-time and they've been quite positive.
“So, we just have to kind of take our agency approach and see what happens, but we are speaking to them.
“He is frustrated because he is not playing. We've told them that and they are open to the idea of him going to get some game-time.”
Kapeluschnik added that there is currently no interest from other clubs for the former Bafana Bafana player.
He added: “Well, we are not at that stage yet. It's November and the window opens in January. The guy is frustrated, and they understand that, and they are open to us ... but we haven't started looking.”
Lebese has a contract at Sundowns until June 2020.
