Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic believes the club can have no excuses about not trying everything possible to be successful in the CAF Champions League.
Pirates are in Group B of Africa's most prestigious club competition but have started the competition relatively slowly with a 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe's FC Platinum.
However, the other two sides in the bracket, Esperance and Horoya, also only picked up a point meaning there is plenty of time for the Sea Robbers to make an impact.
Bucs are set to face Guinean side Horoya on Friday at the Orlando Stadium from 18:00.
As such, 'Micho' insists that his team will do everything under the sun to get a positive result.
He told reporters: "We are back in the group stages after six years and, with that in mind, not many, three of four, players in our squad have felt what this is like.
"So, we cannot be excuse-makers, blame shifters or fault finders and looking right and left, but we shall as men accept whatever comes our way.
"We really have the highest possible ambition in every competition, with respect to this badge and jersey.
"And believing in the work we are doing, the players we have and the support we are getting from your media, our supporters and management, we can really stretch ourselves over all limits and look forward to get the best out of ourselves."
