Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the return of Ramahlwe Mphahlele while Lebogang Manyama remains side-lined due to injury.
Mphahlele injured his knee in the 2-1 loss to Golden Arrows in Durban on December 1 last year.
However, he returned to action for Chiefs' MultiChoice Diski Challenge against Chippa United on Saturday, where they won 4-1.
The defender was only due to play half of the match but twisted the coach’s arm for more game time.
“I was going to take him off at half-time, but he was feeling good and wanted to continue playing," reserve team coach Arthur Zwane told The Citizen.
"But we have to be careful with him, we don’t want him to get injured again."
Elsewhere, Manyama has a torn knee ligament and is set to be out until April.
Eric Mathoho will also be out of action for at least four weeks.
