Cape Town - Maritzburg United forward Siphesihle Ndlovu has committed his future to the club despite speculation linking him with a move to a bigger side in 2018/19.
The 21-year-old had a stellar campaign for the Team of Choice as he scored six goals in 34 appearances and helped the Pietermaritzburg-based outfit finish in fourth position in the Premiership.
In addition, United were losing finalists at the hands of Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup final. As such, he was named the PSL Midfielder of the Season and Young Player of the Season at the end of 2017/18.
With teams no doubt interested in his services, Ndlovu says his future remains with Fadlu Davids' side.
"Not really (that) it'll be my last season because external factors are always there. The coach (Davids) is always advising us that we must control our thinking,” he said as quoted by KickOff website.
"Whatever happens we must just keep it outside, like those rumours. I just go to training normally and do everything normally."
Speaking of his sudden rise to prominence, he added: "Obviously it has changed from how it was to a different level whereby you get greeted by someone you don't know.
"It goes with how you respond to that and so for me it has been great. I have been responding to it very well because people are obviously happy for you. So, you've got to respond very well towards them."
