Ntshangase set for Wits exit

Bidvest Wits midfielder Phumlani Ntshangase is likely to sign for Maritzburg United permanently next season, according to the player's agent.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been on loan with the Team of Choice for the duration of the current 2019/2020 Absa Premiership campaign.

His contract with Bidvest Wits is set to expire at the end of the season with Maritzburg having already made a formal offer for Ntshangase's services.

Sizwe Ntshangase told KickOff: "Ntshangase is not returning to Wits next season. He is open to new offers.

"At the moment only Maritzburg United have made formal contact for his services. That was only a month ago. They made a proposal and we also sent them our proposal."

Ntshangase began his career with Wits, but has also spent time on loan at SuperSport United, during the 2018/19 campaign.
