Nyatama: All Pirates need to work on is finishing

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Musa Nyatama has claimed that the only thing his side needs to work on is putting the ball in the back of the net.

The Buccaneers were downed 1-0 by Bidvest Wits on Wednesday, with a Gladwin Shitolo own goal proving decisive.

However, Nyatama has urged Pirates to put the defeat behind them, as he feels that success is not far away.

"The only thing that we need do is to score goals when in front of the poles - that's the only thing we need to work on," said Nyatama, according to KickOff.

"Ball possession-wise we're doing well but, as I say, we need to score goals. And we know it's going to be a tough game against Bloemfontein Celtic [on Sunday] but, as I said, we need to soldier on, work hard and make it a point that we score goals."

The 31-year-old had mixed feelings about his return to the team, which came on his birthday, having missed the MTN8 defeat to SuperSport United on Saturday.

"It's always a good feeling to be back in the team but to be on the losing side is a sad thing," he said.

"You can have 70-80% ball possession, but not winning the game is not easy to swallow.

"But we still have to trust our process, as we know we're still in a process. We need to keep going, work hard and I'm sure we'll get something in Bloemfontein."
