Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says that Oupa Manyisa will not be treated any differently to other players in his squad when it comes to selection.
Manyisa has not played for Downs since early December and appears to be currently out-of-favour at Sundowns.
He did not feature in last weekend's Nedbank Cup Round of 32 defeat to Chippa United, with the likes of Lucky Mohomi and Siphelele Mkhulise getting selected instead.
Speaking to reporters after the shock defeat to Chippa, Mosimane explained that Manyisa was no different to anyone else in his squad.
He said: "Who? Manyisa, but you didn't ask me about Mohomi last week, when am I going to give him a chance, and you didn't ask me about Pitso (Mkhulise), when am I going to give him a chance?
"And you never asked me about Anele (Ngcongca), when am I going to give him a chance?
"This is a chicken and egg story because there is another one who is not playing also. You can ask me when am I going to give (Jeremy) Brockie a chance?
"Last week no one asked me, ‘when am I going to play Phakamani (Mahlambi)’, (now) he comes in and scores, nobody asks.
"It is a top question, it is right, these things do happen, when am I going to play Reyaad (Pieterse)? (Cuthbert) Malajila?"
Sundowns are back in action on Tuesday night when they take on unpredictable AmaZulu in an Absa Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
Kick-off is at 14:30.
