Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has advised Black Leopards forward Mwape Musonda that the grass is not always greener at a more high profile club.
Musonda finished as the Absa Premiership's Golden Boot winner in 2018/19 with 16 goals scored and he is reportedly open to a move to a bigger team.
The likes of Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits are all said to be interested in securing his services.
Mosimane told reporters that staying at Leopards in 2019/20 would not necessarily be the worst outcome for the talented 28-year-old.
He said: "He has done well and he has scored some important goals for the team. He helped the team to survive relegation.
"That guy had the team on his shoulders, it's unbelievable. He is a good player, I hope he stays where he is. But I'm not the right one to say he must stay or go. He should because Black Leopards needs him also.
"He knows that he has travelled a little bit to find a stable home. You know you can move from a club that you were good at and you are appreciated, you move somewhere and nothing happens.
"So be very careful of moving when you are loved and when people want to keep you."
