Cape Town - Polokwane City are expected to announce the signing of Zlatko Krmpotic as coach, according to reports.
Jozef Vukusic resigned from his coaching role with the Limpopo club in the off season, leaving the position vacant. But now, another Serbian is set to take up the mantle at the Rise and Shine.
"Zlatko Krmpotic is the new coach of Polokwane City," a source told Soccer Laduma.
"He will be announced by the club. The deal was concluded this week."
Krmpotic has plied his trade around the world, from Sweden to Turkey and more recently in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. The Serb was set to take the reigns of National First Division side Royal Eagles, last season, but a paperwork error saw him miss out on the opportunity.
Polokwane City will get their Absa Premiership campaign underway against Black Leopard on August 4.
