PSL charges Wits duo Goss, Doutie with misconduct

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits duo Ricardo Goss and Sameehg Doutie have been charged with assault and misconduct by the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Both players were involved in an altercation with match official Masixole Bambiso after the referee awarded a penalty to Cape Town City during their Absa Premiership clash on January 18.

The match ended in the Citizens beating the title hopefuls 2-0 at Cape Town Stadium.

STATEMENT

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has instituted charges against two Bidvest Wits players, Ricardo Goss and Sameehg Doutie.

Goss and Doutie have been charged with misconduct after they allegedly assaulted match official Masixole Bambiso during the Absa Premiership fixture between Bidvest Wits and Cape Town City on 28 January 2020.

They will appear before the PSL Disciplinary Committee on 11 February 2020.
