PSL return on the cards for Sundowns target Musona?

Cape Town - Star striker Knowledge Musona could sign for Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season, according to the player's agent Mike Makaab.

The 29-year-old hitman has fallen out of favour at his Belgian club RSC Anderlecht and has been sent on loan to KAS Eupen until the end of the current campaign.

Makaab has confirmed that Musona will not be in Belgium next season, although it remains unclear where he will end up.

"It is highly unlikely that Musona will stay in Belgium next season," Makaab told IOL.

"He is going on loan until the end of the season and then we will make a decision at the end of the campaign."

Sundowns have been heavily linked with a move for the former Kaizer Chiefs star and may well complete a move at the end of the season, but his agent says there has been no formal offer as yet.

"As it stands, we are not sure about his (Musona's) next destination but as I said it is highly unlikely that he will be in Belgium come next season," Makaab added.

"Obviously, they (Sundowns) have expressed their love for Musona but I can confirm that there's no formal offer on the table."
