Cape Town - Kevin Anderson is through to the next round of the Miami Open after he defeated Jaume Munar of Spain in three sets.
Anderson, the number six seed at the tournament, won 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
The big serving South African sent down 17 aces to the 5 of his opponent and didn't register a single double fault, succeeding with 72% of his serves.
He will play Joao Sousa of Portugal in the next round. Sousa defeater American Steve Johnson in straight sets, 7-6 (8/6), 6-4.
Anderson has missed his the few ATP tournaments due to an elbow injury.
