Djokovic confirms 2 more big names added to Adria tour line-up

Novak Djokovic has confirmed that Croatians Marin Cilic and Borna Coric have been added to the star-studded line-up for the Adria Tour event.

World No 1 Djokovic launched the tennis tournament, which will be played across the Balkan region from 13 June to 5 July, last week.

Three-time Grand Slam finalist and current world No 3 Dominic Thiem as well as world No 19 Grigor Dimitrov were the first big stars to be confirmed while Alexander Zverev joined the field earlier this week.

2014 US Open winner Cilic and world No 33 Coric, who reached a career-high of No 12 in the world rankings in 2018, have now also signed up for the fundraising event.

“I thank Marin and Borna for joining the tour without asking for any financial compensation,” Djokovic said.

“I have known both of them for a long time, they are great guys and we are good friends, so I am really looking forward to meeting up with them in Zadar.

“Marin is one of the best players ever from this part of the world while Borna has the potential to break into the top five on the men’s ATP Tour.”
