The government is expecting to wrap up vaccinating healthcare workers in the next two weeks.

The Limpopo government has commenced with disciplinary action against employees implicated in a multimillion-rand personal protective equipment (PPE) scandal.

The employees include the head of the provincial Department of Health, Dr Thokozani Mhlongo.

Mhlongo and chief financial officer Justice Mudau were implicated in a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) report into the PPE scandal in the province.
