UK Designer Goes Viral For Chiefs & Pirates Concept Kits

A British designer has unveiled some unbelievable superhero cinematic universes; Marvel and DC-inspired concept kits for PSL teams.

The story

Popular concept kit designer on TikTok, Zayn's Jersey Co. has flexed his creative muscles to do a fun new project, where he designs Marvel and DC superhero-inspired jerseys for DStv Premiership clubs.

Zayn has put together four jerseys so far and it's not clear if he plans on covering all 16 DStv Premiership sides, but has already covered the Soweto Giants.

This talented graphic designer has a solid following of 23k on TikTok and puts his own spin on jersey designs from a host of football clubs and national teams around the world.

It's not his first time designing concept kits for South African teams, as he's also worked on concepts for SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns (2 kits), Royal AM, Golden Arrows, Chippa United and the SA national men's football team, Bafana Bafana.

His latest Marvel/DC x PSL concept kits project sees him reimagine kits from the Soweto Giants, Stellenbosch FC and Golden Arrows with Marvel and DC superheroes matching their respective club colours.

Zayn's superhero-inspired PSL jerseys designs pairs Orlando Pirates with a contemporary Marvel superhero, The Pubnisher; Stellies with Tony Stark's Iron-Man, Kaizer Chiefs with Wolverine and Abafana bes'thende with DC Comic's Green Arrow.
