In the history of kisses, it's been a while since one has rattled the cages of our sensibilities as the latest involving Spanish football president Luis Rubiales.

The football chief becoming the subject of a preliminary investigation into sexual assault may be a bit harsh - before we all descend into a #MeToo frenzy - but the whole palaver still smacks of that other kind of lip service the dignitary or politician simply can't resist.
