Proteas women's opening batter Tazmin Brits bounced back in form with a stunning century before the first of three One-Day Internationals against Sri Lanka was called off due to rain.

The weather had the final say in East London on Tuesday with the opening ODI abandoned seven overs into Sri Lanka's run-chase.
