South Africa's Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio finished in a credible sixth place in the Women's Tour de France that finished on Sunday.
Moolman-Pasio, who races for AG Insurance-Soudal-Quick-Step, finished the race in an overall time of 25hours, 38 minutes, and 57 seconds, five minutes and 21 seconds behind race winner Demi Vollering from the Netherlands.
Belgium's Lotte Kopecky was second behind Vollering with Poland's Katarzyna Niewiadoma in third.
Moolman-Pasio had gone into the final-day time trial in fifth place overall, but the 22.6km trial let her down when she finished 2 minutes and 52 seconds behind stage winner Marlen Reusser from Switzerland (29:15).
Vollering was second in the time trial, 10 seconds behind Reusser, with Kopecky a further 38 seconds behind.
However, the tour remained a success for Moolman-Pasio, who also finished second in the points classification with 153 points, 90 behind Kopecky.
