Cape Town - KwaZulu-Natal's female lifesavers will double as Team South Africa's senior women's squad at the Lifesaving World Championship to be held in Adelaide, Australia.
The sport's biggest event takes place from November 21-25.
The KZN super six were brilliant at the General Tire National Club Championships in Port Elizabeth and as immense at the General Tire Interprovincials in Durban.
Marine, who won the overall South African National Club title, make up five of the six places, with South Africa's 2017 Female Lifesaving Athlete of the Year Carmel Billson the leading star.
Mandi Martiz, who has dominated the sprint and flags events for the last decade, has been selected alongside rising star Bianca von Bargen. Maritz, of Durban Surf, breaks the Marine monopoly in the senior squad.
Marine is also well represented in the Men's Senior Squad through South African Commonwealth swimmer Martin Binedell and Joshua Saunders, South Africa's Iron Open Champion Nick Notten join older brother Dominic and veteran beach sprinter Ryle de Morny. TUKS's Johan Lourens completes the six.
The squad selection only allows for one male beach sprint specialist and De Morny's form in the Flags and Sprint saw him edge SA's 2017 and 2018 Sprint Champion Johnathan Rorke.
Rorke beat De Morny in both finals but De Morny has been without equal in the Flags.
