With another one of the United Rugby Championship's (URC) infamous breaks looming - this time a fortnight's recess to accommodate the Champions and Challenge Cup semi-finals next weekend - Bulls director of rugby Jake White said he got the reaction he was looking for from his team in their comprehensive victory over the Ospreys.
Going into the fixture, the Bulls were a little under the cosh because they had lost their last two matches - their Champions Cup quarter-final away at Northampton and their URC fixture upon returning home against champions Munster - but the Pretoria franchise got back to their winning ways with a 61-24 victory at Loftus Versfeld against the visiting Ospreys.
White said the bonus point win - which had temporarily moved the Bulls up the table from fourth to third, before Munster's bonus point win of their own against the Lions - had been the response he was looking for from his charges.
