Bafana fear no African foe: Broos' men a force in progress after thriller against Algeria

Hugo Broos has a healthy winning percentage of 51.61 after two years and nine months at the Bafana helm.

Accompanied by a straight-talking and no-nonsense approach, the Belgian has overseen 32 matches in more than 1 000 days in the hottest of seats - the role of Bafana Bafana head coach - and taken his charges toe-to-toe with the best on the continent.

Tuesday's six-goal thriller in which Bafana exchanged blows with African powerhouse Algeria to draw 3-3 in the FIFA Series showed as much and, following on from a campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast that exceeded expectations earlier this year, it is clear Broos' men mean to go on as they started.
