Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos on Tuesday expressed his displeasure with Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Rhulani Mokwena following his remarks about injured players reporting for national duty during the upcoming FIFA Series in Algeria.

The Brazilians boss decided to give a break to six out of the seven Bafana players in Sundowns' 2-0 win against Maritzburg United in the Nedbank Cup last 16 on Sunday.

In his post-match press conference, Mokwena explained that he chose to rest the players due to minor injury concerns, as well as to manage their playing time carefully.
