Ria Ledwaba's press conference in Randburg on Wednesday to address her ban from all football activities by the South African Football Association (SAFA) drew out several former high-ranking members of the association who fell out with its president, Danny Jordaan. 

Ledwaba, SAFA's former vice-president, fell out with Jordaan when she challenged him for the organisation's presidency in 2022, and since then she has been waging a legal battle with SAFA.
