Hugo Broos' future as Bafana Bafana head coach was again the subject of speculation following reports coming out of Tunisia on Monday that the Belgian is nearing an agreement with the country's national football team.

According to leading Tunisian publication Mosaïque FM, Broos, who is contractually committed to occupying the Bafana role until the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will tender his resignation after their FIFA Series match against Algeria on Tuesday.

The report did add that the potential appointment would be contingent on Broos resolving his contractual obligations with the South African Football Association (SAFA).
