Mamelodi Sundowns striker Jeremy Brockie remains motivated to continue his career in South Africa despite facing an uncertain future at Chloorkop.
The New Zealander is currently on loan at Maritzburg United, after being deemed surplus to requirements by Masandawana coach Pitso Mosimane, and is still eager to rediscover his best form with the Team of Choice.
The 32-year-old will return to his parent club after the end of the season, but his current contract with Sundowns is due to expire in June, which means he faces a few months of uncertainty.
"Brockie is still focused on regaining his form at Maritzburg United. He is working very hard. Yes, his contract is coming to an end in June at Sundowns but they have an option (to renew)," his agent Mike Makaab told IOL.
"Brockie is still keen to stay in South Africa. His family is happy here and we will see what will happen with his future in the next few months."
