The chorus is loud at the moment of SA's Commonwealth Games achievements, but silence will greet athletes soon when they have to fund themselves for their training and participation until the next hype train gets moving again, writes Sibusiso Mjikeliso.

Our athletes have done us proud in Birmingham - much like Banyana Banyana on the African continent last month - and there's no better time than now to raise the sore point of adequately funding sports in this country.
