The Pretoria Capitals kept their playoff hopes alive with a thrilling three-run victory against Sunrisers Eastern Cape on Thursday at Centurion.

It was a low-scoring encounter in Pretoria, with Marco Jansen picking up three wickets as the Capitals were bundled out for 125 in 18.3 overs.

But the chase was more challenging than the defending champions hoped. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape lost wickets at regular intervals and failed to get any partnership going.
