One of the notable omissions from the Sharks starting line-up that was named this week to take on Edinburgh in Durban on Saturday was centre Ethan Hooker, who has to be content with a place on the bench.

The 21-year-old Westville Boys High product was brilliant against Ulster last weekend, putting up a man-of-the-match performance as the Sharks won 22-12 to snap their losing streak.
