Tau's Tips: Teams looking for redemption

accreditation

Cape Town - Jimmy Tau will be dialling in to BET Central each week to give us his fancies for the weekend. In true BET.co.za fashion, we lump on a nice juicy bonus and serve it up to you.

This week it's Cup football grabbing the attention with the Nedbank Cup here in South Africa and the FA Cup coming from England.

Tau thinks that Kaizer Chiefs and Manchester United will both be looking for redemption as they look to save otherwise disappointing seasons.

Jimmy Tau's BET Boost

Manchester United x Kaizer Chiefs x Chelsea all to win [90 min] | Was 8.96 | Now 11.00

Tau on Chiefs

"I think it will be a tough game, but Chiefs will win because they are desperate to redeem themselves for a disastrous season."

The impending exit of Steve Komphela also featured in Jimmy's prediction, "I also think the coach will be looking to go out on a good note and the only way can do that is by reaching the final or winning the Nedbank Cup."

Tau on United

"Jose Mourinho loves to win and he'll have winning the FA Cup as his top priority now.  Manchester United are another team looking to redeem themselves after failing to win their other competitions."

Tau on Chelsea

"I think Chelsea will win this easily as Southampton have been poor lately."

We didn’t include it in the BET Boost, but Jimmy also tipped the other Nedbank Cup semi-final between Maritzburg and Sundowns to end in a draw - with Sundowns taking the tie on penalties.
